Corfai was a planet in the Corellian sector of the Core Worlds.

HistoryEdit

Corfai was colonized by Human sleeper ships sometime after 27,500 BBY.^[2]

Home to one of the oldest civilizations in the sector, the planet was a center for trade and commerce dating back generations prior to the Galactic Civil War.

It was the site of a New Republic supply bunker. During the Thrawn crisis, the Empire ambushed a New Republic fleet assembling off Corfai.

Behind the scenesEdit

The Rakata Empire map of The Essential Atlas places Corfai right next to Corellia, but the appendix and the Yuuzhan Vong War map put the planet in the Mid Rim. The The Essential Atlas Online Companion confirmed the first placement.
