Coroner droids were bipedal droids equipped with several orange photorecepetors and two dexterous arms. They were used to transport stretchers with deceased bodies on them. At least three were used to remove the bodies of the Jedi Padawans murdered by their masters on Taris from the Council chambers of the Jedi Tower in 3,964 BBY.
