Coruscant Ministry of Ingress

The Coruscant Ministry of Ingress (CMoI) was an agency of the Galactic Republic's government charged with monitoring immigration and emigration from Coruscant. In addition to monitoring emigrants and immigrants, the Ministry attempted to ensure an equilibrium between the two, while arresting criminals who attempted to leave or enter Galactic City. It had several subdivision offices in the Financial District.
During the Separatist Crisis and Clone Wars, it came increasingly under the control of COMPOR.
The Ministry was headed by a First Minister that was appointed or dismissed by the Supreme Chancellor. During the Separatist Crisis, this role was occupied by Zelebitha Effhod.[1] Palpatine appointed Tannon Praji to that position shortly after he became Chancellor, and Praji remained there even into the then-newly formed Galactic Empire.
