Coruscant Prime was the Coruscant system's primary blue-white[3] star.
At the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War, following the Liberation of Coruscant, many of the Yuuzhan Vong fleet's ships were emptied of crew and sent into the star to be destroyed, loaded with the weapons of the invaders. This was in accordance with the peace set out between Warmaster Nas Choka and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances.[4]
Following the end of the Second Imperial Civil War, the body of Darth Krayt was sent into the sun to incinerate it and prevent the possibility of Krayt returning from the dead once more.[5]
