The Coruscant police speeder was the police issue airspeeder utilized by the Coruscant Security Force for patrol, pursuit, and transport operations.

History

The speeder was used by members of the CSF before and during the Clone Wars. It was operated by one pilot and could carry three passengers. The back compartment contained bars for prisoner transport. The side of the vehicle would list the jurisdiction as well as the CSF emergency contact number of 9-1-1.
One notable incident was a high speed chase involving Padmé Amidala, Chata Hyoki, and Robonino.
Behind the scenes

The police cruiser was first mentioned in Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter but their first visual appearance was in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series episode Pursuit of Peace. The cruisers in the episode are shown to belong to police sector 417.
