The Coruscant system, later called the Imperial system, was an eleven-planet system that contained the star Coruscant Prime and the galactic capital world of Coruscant.

This system was vulnerable to meteor showers. One of them, dated some time before 3,956 BBY caused the loss of an orbital station. Another shower occurred soon after.
During the Clone Wars, clone troopers were trained on one of the system's inner worlds, Vandor-3.
