This language was spoken by the Coway, a subterranean species native to Mimban. Though the culture of the Coway was considerably different from that of their fellow planet-dwellers and genetic cousins, the Mimbanites, the language of the Coway was similar to the Mimbanite language. Halla knew some of the Coway tongue, and used it to allow Luke Skywalker a chance to save her, Leia Organa, Hin, Kee, and the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, after their capture by the Coway.
