Crab-harps were biots used by the Yuuzhan Vong. Used as a form of musical instrument, the crab-harp was designed to provide music during ceremonies. Crab-harps would be commanded to "lock" their legs together, which were connected to the body of an enormous drum-shaped creature by tendons which musicians plucked to make harmonious sounds. Other times, crab-harps would be set loose to simply walk around to provide background music.
