Crustai base was the asteroid headquarters of Picket Force Two of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Force, on the borders of the Chiss Ascendancy. The base was actually hidden inside the asteroid. Force Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo was in charge of the base for some time. The base contained a welcoming chamber used in formal welcoming ceremonies for visiting officers and officials.[1]
