The Crystal was a heavily modified Z-95 Headhunter owned and piloted by Jaina Solo.

The Crystal's modifications included a reinforced hull, a Class 2 hyperdrive, and provisions for up to one week of independent operation.

The Crystal was a gift from Jaina's father Han Solo upon her graduation from Luke Skywalker's Jedi Praxeum.
During her first flight in the Crystal, Jaina was attacked by an insane cyborg, who inexplicably believed her antique fighter to be a new prototype. After a fierce dogfight, Jaina managed to shoot down the cyborg's X-wing.
