Crystal garden

A crystal garden was a deposit of mineral crystals that had been carefully tended by a member of the Laboi species on the planet Laboi II. Members of the serpentine species used tools known as stir-sticks or natural telepathic powers to arrange the naturally occurring deposits of molten minerals of their homeworld into structured gardens when they cooled during the planet's long night.^[1]
