Curtis Saxton
Talk1this wiki
Curtis Saxton is the author of two books in the Incredible Cross Sections series. He served as a named consultant on two other Star Wars technical reference books, and provided technical input on others.
Dr. Saxton holds a doctorate in astrophysics from the University of Sydney. He is currently conducting postdoctoral research at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory, University College London.
He began his Star Wars technical writing career with the unofficial Star Wars Technical Commentaries, a set of detailed documents exploring the nature and limits of the technology of Star Wars. The first Commentaries went online in February 1995.
The fan terms Saxtonite and Saxtonism refer, respectively, to Saxton supporters and his methodology. As some of his conclusions in the Star Wars Technical Commentaries are controversial, some fans consider these terms pejorative.[source?]
