Cyanogen silicate
Cyanogen silicate is a chemical compound used in medicine by healers in the Sith Empire. It was used as a cauterizing agent to heal wounds on Massassi warriors, whose tough hides were resistant to treatment by other such agents.
In its dried out form, cyanogen silicate was extremely potent. But if moisture entered the vial, the compound began to break down, intensifying in strength by a factor of one thousand. If placed in a water table or aqueduct, a small amount of cyanogen silicate could wipe out an entire village.
Seelah Korsin kept a stock of cyanogen silicate in the medical bay of the Sith dreadnaught Omen, as did Ravilan, the quartermaster for the ship's Massassi warriors. These stocks of the chemical compound were stolen by the Keshiri Adari Vaal and Tilden Kaah, who used them to devastate several Keshiri cities, putting the blame on Ravilan and the other Red Sith from the Omen. As a result, the leaders of the Lost Tribe of Sith killed all fifty-seven members of the Omen's Red Sith crew. The poisoning of Keshiri cities was part of a larger plot to remove the Lost Tribe from their planet.
