The cybernetic chamber was a device developed by Imperial scientists during the Galactic Civil War. A large chamber, it had a single seat within it and used a laserwave link to transmit Force energies long distances.

Darth Vader used the chamber in a plan to uncover a hidden Rebel Alliance base after the Battle of Yavin. Luring Luke Skywalker to Verdanth, Vader hoped to use the chamber's Force energy to pry the location from his mind. However, Skywalker resisted the probe.
