Cynabar was a mysterious smuggler who operated Cynabar's InfoNet during the time of the Galactic Empire and the Galactic Civil War.
Cynabar also regularly put out Cynabar's Droid Datalog, a scandoc regarding droids and their usefulness to smugglers, which contained data collated from various newsnets and data archives.
TriNebulon News journalist Andor Javin once claimed that Cynabar was none other than the notorious Brentaalian smuggler Platt Okeefe. However, since Javin's journalistic methodology was far from meticulous, the identification of Cynabar as Okeefe is tenuous at best.
Cynabar refused to say how many shadowports they had been to, but did reveal that the number was closer to fifty than it was to forty.
