A d'lis was a type of crystal found on Sullust,[1] an Outer Rim planet that was the homeworld of the Sullustan species.[2] The Sullustans found the crystals to be pretty and some female members of the species were named after them.[1]
Behind the scenes
The d'lis crystals were first mentioned in the Galactic Campaign Guide, a 2003 sourcebook for Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game, written by Peter Schweighofer and J.D. Wiker. They were only described in a table of Sullustan female names.[1]
