D'zor was a resident outlaw of Mos Espa in 32 BBY. He and his thugs camped out in the back of Barbo's store, and kept a large repeating blaster for protection. When the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn sought to trade parts with Barbo, the Gran told him, "Talk to D'zor out back; he may want to trade." Upon entering the backyard, D'zor and his posse open fired on the Jedi, who was forced to kill them in self-defense.

Behind the scenes

Another possible end to the situation was for Qui-Gon Jinn to jump over the city wall to the outside of Mos Espa, leaving D'zor and his thugs behind.
