D-127X was a Rebel Alliance probe droid assigned as sentry for the Atrivis Sector, during the early stages of the Galactic Civil War. Deployed to the Oplovis Sector to secretly monitor communications and data flowing over Imperial networks in the sector, it was specifically tasked with gathering intelligence on the Oplovis Sector Fleet. While on patrol, D-127X was spotted by an Imperial picket ship. After firing off its messenger droids and sending them back to the Atrivis Sector Force, D-127X wiped its memory core and self-destructed.
