DA-1 was a sentient controlled data analysis droid onboard the New Republic ship Steadfast. In 16 ABY DA-1 was one of the droids involved in the finding of a operational datacore on the Star Destroyer Gnisnal that allowed for the discovery of the Black Fleet.

DA-1's controller was Makki.
