DC-15 was a series of Grand Army of the Republic blasters that were standard-issue for the clone troopers.
The DC-15S blaster was a smaller version of the DC-15A blaster rifle. Although lacking the range of the full size DC-15A Blaster Rifle, It was a well-rounded, powerful weapon that was used by many types of troopers in the GAR such as clone troopers, and clone commanders.
The DC-17 hand blaster was used by ARC troopers, clone jet troopers, clone commanders, as well as some other divisions of clone troopers. It was a small, powerful, high-performance pistol. ARC troopers and clone commanders often wielded dual DC-17 hand blasters in battle, like Jango Fett himself.
The DC-15A blaster rifle was a larger version of the DC-15S and was carried by Clone commanders, and other variants of clone trooper's. It was a powerful, versatile, accurate battle rifle better suited for rough, large, battlefields rather than close quarters combat.
The DC-15s side arm blaster was highly favored by clone commandos and was used as a backup weapon in compliment with the DC-17m Interchangeable Weapon System.
The DC-15x sniper rifle was the weapon of choice for clone snipers when on the field for extremely long-range suppressive fire or cover for advancing troops. It was also used for base defense. The 15x also had a three-power x22 magnification scope for shots across a battlefield.
Senate Commandos were known to use DC-15 rifles.
