The DC-15x sniper rifle was a long-range blaster rifle manufactured by BlasTech Industries for the clone sharpshooters of the Galactic Republic and scout trooper snipers of the Galactic Empire.
An enhanced version of the DC-15 blaster rifle, the DC-15x featured additional sights and exceptional accuracy in the hands of an elite sharpshooter specialist. With a clone sharpshooter behind the trigger, the DC-15x ensured a head-shot every time.
Though the DC-15x was the primary sniper rifle of the Grand Army of the Republic, the DC-17m weapons system employed by clone commandos could be converted into a high-powered ion sniper rifle.
