The Dentaal Independence Party or DIP was formed after the Galactic Empire conquered the planet of Dentaal. After Governor Taliff disbanded the House of Dentaal, the former members met and, under leadership of Hancc Rellow, created the DIP. The DIP then overthreww Taliff; however, the Empire responded by having Crix Madine seed the world with the Candorian plague.
