The Tenloss DX-2 was a disruptor pistol. Like most disruptors, it was illegal on most worlds, and possession could be punishable by death. It was an extremely short-ranged weapon, like most disruptors, with a maximum range of 7 meters and an optimum range of only 5 meters. They also consumed a great deal of ammunition per shot. When charged properly, they had been known to vaporize the victim, leaving nothing more than a pile of ashes.
