DX-300 traffic package
- "And whether you pursue your civil engineering careers here or elsewhere, you'll come to rely on the DX-300 traffic package."
- ―A lecturer on Taris
The DX-300 traffic package was a traffic regulation device in use around 3,964 BBY. Unlike previous traffic regulation packages, the DX-300 could suggest the best track available to commuters by use of regulating signals. A lecture detailing the package was held[1] on the Outer Rim world of Taris[2] but was interrupted when Jedi Padawan Zayne Carrick crashed his airspeeder into the building.[1]
Behind the scenes
Edit
The DX-300 package's first and only mention was in the second issue of the Knights of the Old Republic comic book series. The author of the comic, John Jackson Miller, commented on his website that he found it ironic for a traffic accident to occur in the middle of a lecture about a device that handled traffic flow.[3]
