The Dagger-D police fighter was a short-range starfighter used by the Duro Defense Force to patrol the Duro system. The fighter was sleek and blade-shaped, and possessed a large Novaldex BlasterDrive engine nacelle. Not designed to take heavy damage, the Dagger-D was inexpensive and used primarily for police duty.
These fighters saw action in 26 ABY during the Battle of Duro. Alongside Duro Defense Force E-wings, they engaged Yuuzhan Vong Coralskippers and Yorik-trema landing craft.
