Dan'l Danehy-Oakes is a science-fiction writer who wrote Shaara and the Sarlacc: The Skiff Guard's Tale for the Tales from Jabba's Palace anthology. It has been claimed that the short story was Dan'l's vengeance on certain undisclosed persons (most likely a sort of counter-prank). However, Dan'l denies this.
