A Dantooinian firing squad referred to a ring of beings armed with projectile weapons, targeting another being within the ring's center with the intent to kill. As a result, participants in the firing squad often eliminated one another in addition to the intended target. In starfighter combat, a Dantooinian firing squad involved a target flanked on both sides, whose evasive maneuvering resulted in one of the oppressors eliminating the other. Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker attempted to perform a Dantooinian firing squad maneuver while under attack on Nam Chorios by the Sith Meditation Sphere Ship, which was under the control of Abeloth.
