The Daranc system was a star system that was located within the Meram sector, a part of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories regions.[2] The system shared its name with the Daranc Run hyperlane.[3][4]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Daranc system was established in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square O-4.[2]

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Daranc Run in relation to the Daranc system.
