The Dargon was an Imperial Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser that served the Empire as a prison ship.

HistoryEdit

Its escort typically included TIE Avengers and Assault Gunboats.

Carrying Bothan and Rebel prisoners, it came under attack from Rebel forces bent at rescuing prisoners, at least twice.

Behind the scenesEdit

In Star Wars: TIE Fighter, the player (acting as Maarek Stele) prevents the Dargon from being disabled, ensuring that the prisoners can be brought to Lord Vader and interrogated by him. The Rebels sent three waves of starfighters then 2 CR90 corvettes called Keeper and an Assassin-class corvette called Hut'to. In another mission involving the Dargon, it's engines shut down, this is suspected through sabotage. The Rebels then attack again with a Nebulon-B2 frigate called Bay Point with Y-wings and A-wings.

In Star Wars: X-wing vs. TIE Fighter, the Rebels attempt to disable the Dargon with starfighters and the MC80 cruiser Columbia. The outcome of the event involving the Dargon depends on which side the player takes.
