The Daring was a frigate operated by the Galactic Alliance in the years following the Yuuzhan Vong War.
History

In 40 ABY, the Daring was part of a Alliance task force monitoring Bothan fleet units in Bothan Space, along with the Alliance warship Bounty.
During a mission near the Bothawui system, the Daring successfully engaged a task force of nineteen Bothan frigates, with the aid of the larger Bounty and several squadrons of X-wings. Due to the fact that several of the vessels were on shakedown cruises or not fully crewed, the Alliance forces were able to rout the Bothan flotilla.
