- "It says here that ancient Jedi Knights who turned to the dark side became Dark Lords of the Sith…or some such nonsense."
- ―Museum curator[src]
Within Coruscant's Galactic Museum of Dark Side Antiquities, was an educational exhibit entitled Dark Lords of the Sith. This exhibit was exclusively dedicated to the memory, history and study of the ancient Sith Empire, and was so named for its rulers, the Dark Lords of the Sith species. By the year 3,998 BBY, the construction of the exhibit was incomplete, consisting only of a plethora of Sith artifacts. The museum's curator intended to augment the splendor of the exhibit with holographic projections, telling stories of the Sith's fabled Golden Age. Due to the capacity of the collected artifacts and information, an entire wing of the museum, dubbed the "Sith Hall", was sectioned off to be dedicated soley to the exhibit.[1]

[edit] History
It was during this construction period that socialites from the Empress Teta star system named Satal and Aleema Keto arrived on Coruscant, in search of dark side knowledge themselves.[2] They were guided to the museum, where they met the curator. Pretending to be innocent tourists, the Ketos begged the curator to allow them access to the exhibit, despite it being incomplete. The curator at first refused, stating that it was to be deemed restricted under directions from the Jedi Order, due to the value of the artifacts that were displayed. After some begging, however, the curator relented, and allowed the Ketos to browse the exhibit.[1] Instantly the two Force-sensitive youths felt the power of the dark side resonating from the gathered artifacts, something they guessed no one else was aware of. Satal then stole an item, a Sith spellbook from a table of artifacts while the curator was preoccupied with a comlink.[1] They then immediately exited the museum with their new prize.[2]
[edit] Behind the scenes
The exhibit called Dark Lords of the Sith first appeared in the audio rendition of the Tales of the Jedi storyarc. In the comic version, the exhibit appears in authors Tom Veitch and Kevin J. Anderson's Freedon Nadd Uprising series.
In the audio drama, Satal and Aleema Keto locate the museum of Dark Side Antiquities and are met by its curator, who then guides them to the exhibit where they later steal the spellbook.[1] In the comic version, however, the Ketos locate the museum (which is simply called the Galactic Museum in this appearance) after browsing a tourist guide. The exhibit is never named, and they never interact with the museum's curator, but instead explore the "Sith Hall" for themselves. The exhibit appears to be complete, with display cases housing the various Sith artifacts for all to see.[2]
