The Dark Nebula was a Star Destroyer that served with the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War.
While preparing to attack a New Republic-aligned star system, one of the vessel's TIE fighters crashed on the world of Ergeshui, on the continent of Ersheg. The starfighter was tracked there by the New Republic embassy and its pilot was captured, however there were no ships available to fight off the Destroyer. An attempt was made to beat the Imperial warship to the planet, in order to warn the inhabitants.
