Dark Blessings were dark side rituals that were bestowed upon such individuals as Emperor Palpatine and Trioculus by the Prophets of the Dark Side.

After finding the Glove of Darth Vader on Calamari, Trioculus set out to Space Station Scardia to receive the dark blessing from Kadann, the Supreme Prophet. Trioculus knew that if he received the Dark Blessing, he would convince skeptics such as COMPNOR and Grand Admiral Grunger that he was the true heir to the Imperial throne.
