Dark novatrooper

Dark novatroopers were a variant of the dark troopers, deadly next-generation stormtroopers/battle droids used by the Galactic Empire.

They were programmed with expertise in boarding operations against enemy ships and as such were commonly used to board Rebel Alliance corvettes. They remained in operation throughout the Galactic Civil War, unlike the ill-fated standard soldiers. It stands to reason that they were armed with heavily modified DC-15a blaster rifles. These stormtrooper battle droids were very heavily armored to enforce control of any Rebel Alliance situation they encounter.
