Darlen was an Alderaanian aristocrat who escaped its destruction in 0 BBY.

Before its destruction, she had been friends with the planet's Princess, Leia Organa. She was later suspected by Leia to be an Imperial spy, but this later turned out to be false. Darlen married another Alderaanian survivor, Tolok, and had a baby.
