Darth Azamin was a Dark Lord of the Sith of the resurgent Sith Empire and a Dark Councilor during the Great Galactic War.

Towards the end of the war, a Jedi strike team infiltrated the Azamin’s stronghold and killed him; many suspect that his replacement Darth Decimus aided the strike team on their mission in order to remove a powerful rival, but these suspicions were never proven. The Jedi all perished when the ship they used to escape exploded due to a mechanical malfunction that was most likely due to sabotage.
