The tomb of Darth Bane was located on Korriban used to house the remains of the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Bane, who had died almost a millennium before the Clone Wars.

In 20 BBY, Grand Master Yoda sojourned to Korriban and at one stage, he found the tomb of the long deceased Bane. Bane awoke as a giant, smoldering specter, and challenged Yoda, who knew who he was, believing that he had come to learn as his apprentice. But Yoda said that Bane was all but an illusion, and Bane then disappeared into a sarcophagus.
