Darth Gean was the female Twi'lek Sith apprentice of the ill-fated Dark Lord Darth Gravid and later a Sith Master in the Banite Sith line.

Sith apprenticeEdit

Gravid taught his apprentice that there was value in positive emotions such as compassion, contrary to traditional Sith teachings. Gean, however, disagreed with him, repulsed by what she perceived as weakness in her master, and murdered him, making Gravid's reign a particularly short one, even by Sith standards. Before his death, however, Gravid sabotaged the Sith holocron, and Gean was dismayed to learn that the coveted technique of essence transfer, amongst other things, had been wiped from the Sith's store of knowledge.

Sith MasterEdit

Having lost an arm, a shoulder and half of her face during the duel with her master, Gean eventually took an apprentice, perpetuating Darth Bane's teachings down to Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious, who remembered her bravery and dedication to the Sith tenets.
