This individual was a female Devaronian who married a Jedi in the time before the Sith–Imperial War. The couple had a Force-sensitive daughter, whom they named Malincha. When their daughter was young, both this Devaronian mother and her husband were killed by the Dark Lord of the One Sith, Darth Krayt. Malincha was taken by the Sith Lord and instructed in the Sith ways, eventually becoming the Sith Lady Darth Maladi.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Darth Maladi's mother was created by John Ostrander, the writer of the Star Wars: Legacy comic series. She was first mentioned by her daughter, the Sith Lady Darth Maladi, in the third issue of the Monster story arc, published in 2010.
