Darth Vurik was a man who was a member of One Sith during the years following the Sith-Imperial War.

BiographyEdit

When Darth Krayt usurped the throne of the Fel Empire in 130 ABY, he began to develop an interest in the Dying Sun, an Interdictor-class cruiser that had crashed on the planet Nyriaan during the Jedi Civil War. In 132 ABY, Krayt sent Vurik to Nyriaan, to investigate the rumors of the Dying Sun.

Vurik arrived on the planet and the descendants of the Sith crew of the Dying Sun. The Sith resisted Vurik, as they didn't want him to find their master, Darth Glovoc, who was being held in stasis. Vurik killed many of the Sith, although this was noticed by Nyriaan's native clans. A number of Jedi were hiding among the clans and several of them attacked Vurik, before he could locate Glovoc. Vurik was defeated by them, but succeeded in killing at least one of the Jedi and leaving several more injured. He retreated to Locus, the capital of Nyriaan, and the Sith moved Glovoc to a different location, while Vurik was distracted.

Haunted by his failure to find Glovoc and the Dying Sun, Vurik chose not to report back to Darth Krayt. He continued his search to try and find Darth Glovoc and hired some bounty hunters to find and kill the Jedi.
