A datapad was a small electronic device used for the input, storage and displaying of information.[1] At least some datapads had reflective surfaces. Merei Spanjaf once saw a dim reflection of herself when staring at her datapad in consternation.[2] Additionally, some datapads came with a built-in locator.[3] A training datapad was a type of datapad used for training by aspiring cadets of the Imperial Academy.[4]
