Dave Wolverton is the author of the novel The Courtship of Princess Leia and has written a number of short stories including Payback: The Tale of Dengar, The Sand Tender: The Hammerhead's Tale and A Free Quarren in the Palace: Tessek's Tale for the Star Wars short story anthologies Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina, Tales from Jabba's Palace and Tales of the Bounty Hunters. He has also contributed to the Jedi Apprentice young reader series, writing book one The Rising Force and co-writing book three The Hidden Past with Jude Watson. He also wrote four of the Episode I Adventures which include Episode I Adventures 5: The Ghostling Children, Episode I Adventures 6: The Hunt for Anakin Skywalker, Episode I Adventures 7: Capture Arawynne and Episode I Adventures 8: Trouble on Tatooine. Wolverton also wrote eight books of the Star Wars Missions series.
