David W. Collins

David W. Collins works for LucasArts as the lead sound designer and voice director with the video game division of the company, and also is an actor and voice-actor for the company.
Collins graduated from Whitworth College (Spokane, WA) in 1997 with a double major of theatre and music and a minor in English. Collins then attended Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) where he studied music production and engineering, drum set and conducting. In addition to working for LucasArts, he is currently the contemporary music director at the Presbyterian Church of Novato in California.
His best known Star Wars roles are two characters, One who is a hero and the other a villain: The hero he played was the droid: PROXY, droid sidekick of Galen Marek, who was portrayed by Sam Witwer in the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, in that same game, He provided the voice of a GCI Darth Maul. He has also played General Grievous albeit uncredited in the video games: Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron and Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron. In Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron, he also reprised his role as the voice of Darth Maul while also reprising his roles of both General Grievous and the Battle droid's, the roles who were played by Collins in The video game adaption of the movie known as Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars: Battlefront II , Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, and Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron.
