Two known screenshots of Deasie A'Fresel exist, depicting her to be a Twi'lek. However, one depicts her as a female Twi'lek, and the other depicts her as a male Twi'lek. While the quest dialogue given by Leia Organa did indicate that A'Fresel was a female, it did not state her species or appearance. Due to the nature of many older quests in Star Wars Galaxies, the appearance of various characters could change each time a player performed the quest. Ordinarily, it would be assumed that the female Twi'lek depiction of Deasie A'Fresel would be canon, as was in the case with another character in Galaxies named Talia Reede. In the game, Reede would always be generated as a Twi'lek, but the gender would be randomized. Because the quest dialogue indicated that she was a female, it was assumed that the female Twi'lek depiction of her was canon. However, it cannot be said with absolute certainty that A'Fresel always spawned as a Twi'lek in the same way as Reede. This is further reinforced by the fact that later in the Rebel Themepark, AdmiralAckbar tasked the player with meeting with Teria Alessie, who was under the same randomized spawn template as A'Fresel. Alessie could also appear as the identical female Twi'lek representation seen in this article, but also as a Human. Therefore, A'Fresel could have also spawned as a Human as well, rendering the canonincal species of A'Fresel unidentifiable. Furthermore, the species of A'Fresel cannot be inferred from her relationship with Taergle and Tennelt, as they too had randomly generated appearances in the game.
Furthermore, although not mentioned in the quest dialogue, examining her revealed her to be an entertainer. However, it should be noted that this was primarily due to game mechanics, as a result of A'Fresel being placed under the randomized entertainer spawn template appearance.
