"Death Star Rising" was a song by the pro-Imperial musical group The Emperor's New Clothes. The song was featured on their album Artistic Integrity and released within days after the Empire's destruction of the planet Alderaan. Like all of The Emperor's New Clothes' music, "Death Star Rising" was approved by the Imperial Board of Culture. The content and nature of the song led some observers to believe a closer relationship between The Emperor's New Clothes and the Galactic Empire.
Behind the scenesEdit
