Death Watch Bunker

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

The Death Watch Bunker being raided by spacers

The Death Watch Bunker was the primary location of the Death Watch splinter group during the days of the Galactic Civil War.

[edit] History

The Bunker was located on the forest moon of Endor, virtually invisible to the rest of the galaxy. The Death Watch's activities during this time are a mystery, though they may have been working as a small mercenary army for the highest bidder, such as the Mandalorians did before Galidraan. The Death Watch Overlord was the leader of the mercenary group residing within the bunker, taking charge of Death Watch Wraiths, Ghosts, and Bloodguards.

Defenses were top priority in the bunker. To eliminate anything that could reveal their secrecy, the Death Watch formed a coalition with Black Sun for protection; there were also modified battle droids patrolling the bunker.

The bunker was also one of the only places in the galaxy that had alum mines, and proper equipment to produce the famed Mandalorian armor. The Black Sun organization developed the Crusader MK III armor inside the installation.

After the war, it was unknown if the bunker was still active, and if the Death Watch was still working secretly in the Galaxy.

[edit] Behind the scenes

The Death Watch Bunker appears in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies. In the game, players must descend through the dangerous depths of the bunker to craft their own suit of Mandalorian armor.
