A death convulsion was a distinct reaction that a Force-sensitive being felt through the Force when another being died. Satele Shan experienced a death convulsion upon her Jedi Master's death at the hands of Darth Malgus, and Aryn Leneer felt it upon the death of her own Master, Ven Zallow; Yoda felt this while on Kashyyyk when Order 66 was executed; Obi-Wan Kenobi felt one when the Death Star destroyed Alderaan; Zekk felt this when Brakiss died as the Shadow Academy exploded; students of the Jedi Praxeum felt one when Kyp Durron destroyed Carida with his stolen Sun Crusher; Jedi trained at the Jedi Praxeum and Anakin Solo's family felt his death at the hands of the Yuuzhan Vong. The Tsils of Nam Chorios produced particularly powerful death convulsions.
