Deela was a woman captured by the Galactic Empire, alongside her husband and daughter, during the invasion of her home planet, nine months after the Battle of Yavin. Captured by Janek Sunber, her husband refused to give any information on the Alliance and stated Luke Skywalker would overthrow the Empire.
