Deesra Luur Jada was a male Twi'lek Jedi Knight who was trained by Jedi Master Dorak to succeed him as the Chronicler of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine.

BiographyEdit

When Revan was sent to Dantooine to be retrained as a Jedi in 3,956 BBY, Deesra warned him about the predatory terentateks and told the story of the unsuccessful Great Hunt commissioned by the Jedi Council forty years earlier. Despite his warning of the great danger presented by terentatek, Revan proved capable of single-handedly defeating two of the great beasts at a time.^[1]

Deesra was still present on Dantooine when Darth Malak attacked the Jedi Enclave. He survived the attack and would return to the enclave five years later, continuing to teach to the new order after the First Jedi Purge, after the enclave had been mostly rebuilt by the three Lost Jedi that Meetra Surik set out to find.^[2]

In 40 ABY, Tionne Solusar would study Deesra's account of the Jedi Civil War.^[2]
