The Defiant was an Acclamator I-class assault ship.^[1]

HistoryEdit

The Defiant first saw service in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars, where it was adorned with lateral red markings port and starboard of the centerline and wore the symbol of the Open Circle Fleet.^[1]

It saw action during the Battle of Christophsis, providing support to the ground assault force led by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker as they pushed past the Separatist blockade to the surface.^[source?]

Afterward, it was used to transport Skywalker, his new Padawan, and a contingent of clone forces to the planet Teth on a mission to rescue Rotta, the kidnapped Huttlet of Jabba Desilijic Tiure.^[source?]

It later served in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War, by which time it had its markings removed.^[2]
